This November, two European cities are hosting the Bicycle Film Festival, that takes place in Madrid on 15-18 November and London shortly after on 22-25 November. The festivals include an exciting lineup of shorts and feature films from around the world, along with a host of supporting events and parties.
In London, the Festival has assembled an expert panel from the cycling community and authorities on transport to come together to debate how culture can affect policy changes in order to make our city truly cycling friendly. They will be exploring the following issues:
What drives cycling uptake in a city?
What can we learn from the Dutch experience?
Are we ‘born or made’ cyclists?
How do we provide more road space to cyclists without compromising other users?
